Grace Child Development Centre conducted an intergenerational programme with Grace Lodge, in celebration of Singapore’s 60th National Day. The children put up dance performances and engaged our elderly residents in a cushion-colouring art activity, under the guidance of teachers. The children and elderlies shared joyful moments in this meaningful activity, colouring side by side. What seemed like a simple pastime quickly became a bridge between generations, sparking lively conversations, and joyful laughter.

The celebration was more than just an event. It was a reminder that our nation’s strength lies in the unity among her people, across ages, races and religions. As we commemorated National Day, we also celebrated the timeless values of unity, respect and care that continue to shape our nation.
