Chinese New Year is a time of reunion with family members. Yet, for many residents in nursing homes who no longer have the comforting presence of family members constantly, this festive period can feel quiet and lonely. That was why we conducted activities to brighten up the festive period for our elderly residents.
Our nursing home was transformed into a lively hub of celebration, filled with colours, music and familiar traditions. In doing so, we uphold the spirit of the New Year with togetherness and renewed hope for everyone, regardless of age or physical ability.
