The Art & Craft Activities session held on 9 June brought together Hearty Care students and Grace Lodge Nursing Home residents in a meaningful intergenerational bonding programme.
As Hearty Care students sat alongside Grace Lodge residents, what began as cutting, colouring, and crafting soon turned into conversations and shared smiles. The students brought with them an infectious energy and eagerness, while the residents responded with warmth, humour, and quiet pride in their creations.
Through this intergenerational bonding programme, both groups gained something valuable: for the programme was a heartwarming experience, reminding us that creativity has no age and kindness connects every generation.
It was a simple activity, but one that quietly strengthened the bridge between generations where young hand and old hearts met in quiet harmony.
