Every year is a precious gift of life continuity for our elders. On this special occasion for our May birthday celebrants, we were pleasantly surprised to uncover not just one, but three great singers in our care! Mr Tan H.T. sang a Hokkien song “Ai Pia Jia Eh Yia”, Mr. Dankarna presented a Malay song, and Mr Chan K.F. belted out love songs in English!
Though the body may fail with time, the mind can always be uplifted by music! It is not the strength of the limbs, but the evergreen mind that leaves a legacy of imprints on the well-trodden path of life.
Most importantly, we celebrate not only the years, but also the love of life that continues to flourish with each birthday!
